What do you want to be famous for?
I would love to be famous because of my writing, I would love to write a a good history book that and get to be noticed by it, or writing a good comic, not superheroes tough because is just not my genre. I have many ideas in my head but most of the time I'm really afraid to share them and to try to make them work...

What modern book do you think will be read in high school by the next generation of kids?
Submitted by Tom.
Speaking as a citizen of a country that studies say people only read 2 books... a year, I can only see... Harry Potter. Literature profesors may cringe to the idea but to the moment is one of the few books young people is reading at their own initiave.
Now, If I were a literature teacher what books I would make my students read?:
First, I would break their minds with the dystopian triple combo:
Brave new world by Aldous Huxley
1984 by George Orwell
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
that would make them think, I hope, or at least asking me for mercy and to stop shattering their little happy bubble of obliviousness.
Also I would put them to read Sandman... which is a comic but a really excelente piece of literature and the proof that classics don't really need to be in pure prose.
Sure, most sequels stink, but what movie really needs a sequel?
I think I'll pass. most sequels uterly suck because it weren't needed in the first place. In my opinion the matri sequels failed because they were focused more in beingh impresive and shiny and tossed the writting aside, funny enough I found the animatri enjoyable.
At first I thought Shrek II and Pirates of the Caribean: Dead man Chest were doomed to be failures as then but to my surprise they could raise equal or more interest as the first and gave valid reasons to the sequels to be.
What are your top 5 books of 2006?
mmm published this year or just read? Well my free time and money has been a little limited lately so I will asume is what I have read. I will put only a top 3 because only I only feel 3 books marked my year.
1-. Fahrenheit 451
This book is pure genious, even if it was published more than 50 years ago the elements it talks about are still very valid to this day, in fact more than ever. Many people doesn't want to read anymore, and fill empty spaces in their lives with mindless tv shows and consumism.
2-. Fables
I started reading this comic this year and quickly rose into my second favorite comic(the first one being The Sandman) I think is wonderful how the author can make a whole universe with fairytales created beforehand. I haven't had te chance to read the one nights of snowfall special but for the moment was the only picture I could find.
3-.Runaways
I just started to read this comic series this year and already has a place in my heart, it has great characters who act like real teenagers, who evolve(and sometimes deevolve) you end falling in love with them.
